Project Description: This new 400 bed county jail has a roof that will withstand the demands of the building it keeps dry. Carlisle’s Sure-Flex KEE membrane is a premium PVC based membrane that includes a Dupont Evaloy KEE HP resin modifier, which improves the overall performance of the membrane roof. This project included a ½” Dens Deck substrate board with 6mil Poly Vapor barrier, 5.2” of Rigid Insulation, ¼” Securock and a mechanically fastened 60mil Sure-Flex KEE HP. The Skagit County Jail project also incorporated over 10,000 square feet of Carlisle Sure-Flex PVC Contour Rib Profile, which is an extruded PVC profile that is welded directly onto the membrane to imitate the appearance of a metal roof but has the functionality and durability of a single ply membrane.
